Sayori 'Yori' Wakaba さより ’より’ わかば

Yori is 17 years old and is Yuki's best friend and is in the Day Class. She has a very calm personality and doesn't care much about the Night Class students like the other girls do.
  Yori has light brown hair, cut short. Her eyes are a similar colour to her hair.

  Yuki has been her best friend since they met at Cross Academy. She has admitted to Yuki that Yuki has a very childish personality but says that it's a good trait. She plays jokes on Yuki, such as the time when she said that they were serving food at the tables, waking Yuki up and shouting out that she wanted seconds, although she was in the lecture room along with all the others.
  There have been rumours that she holds feelings for Hanabusa but it is quite unlikely. He did save her from a vampire but I personally do not think they will form a relationship. She has spoken to Kaito before and he has snuck her into a vampires-only party only because she wanted to see her best friend that she had not seen in a year.

Ichiru Kiryu いちる きりゅ

Ichiru is deceased, and once Zero's loving brother. He was trained with Zero to be vampire hunters but never had the same talent as Zero. His parents were discussing how he was not as talented as Zero and Ichiru had overheard that, making him hate Zero. He was often sick, meaning he wasn't as strong and was very vulnerable to many things.

  Shizuka Hio was his companion, his friend, and his life. In order to make himself stronger, she fed him her blood. After killing Ichiru's parents, Shizuka took Ichiru and kept him for herself. Ichiru was happy she had killed his parents and to return the favour, he was assigned by Shizuka to go kill Rido, her former lover. Ichiru did not succeed but wounded Rido enough for him to become weak.

  Maria was offered a deal by her distant relative, Shizuka, that if she lent Shizuka her body, she would allow Maria to drink her blood to fix her sickly body. But that promise was broken due to Shizuka's death. Maria became good friends with Ichiru, and may have developed feelings for him.

Zero Kiryu ぜロ きりゅう

Zero is 18 years old and is 181cm tall (6 foot 1 inch). He is a vampire hunter and to mention, ALSO a vampire himself. He hates himself, although he has the help of Yuki to believe that he has a purpose in the world.

  He has silver hair and purple eyes, the same as his twin brother Ichiru. on the left side of his neck is a tattoo, the hunter's seal which is used to control his hunger for blood. He doesn't wear his uniform correctly, allowing his tie and vest being exposed. Zero has three silver earrings on the top of his left ear and two silver earrings on his bottom right ear. He has the looks of his father (unnamed).

  He is a twin, of the 'cursed twins'. His twin brother Ichiru was sickly and not cut out to be a strong vampire hunter like Zero. While they were younger, they were good friends and loved eachother. But as they reunited four years later, Ichiru developed hatred for Zero, and so did Zero himself. Zero was disappointed that Ichiru had left him and his parents dying while leaving with Shizuka (Zero's master and a pureblood vampire).

  Yuki has been his childhood friend and his partner in the Disciplinary Committee. Because Yuki revealed that she was afraid of vampires, he was afraid to reveal that he was a vampire once himself.

  He was bitten by a pureblood vampire, Shizuka Hio, who was seeking revenge on Zero's family for killing her lover, who was once bait. Zero is unable to kill Shizuka because she is his master who awakened him. Meanwhile, Ichiru has been constantly drinkiing her blood and pleading her to turn him into a vampire but she refused, leading to Ichiru's hatred for Zero.

Yuki Cross/Kuran ゆき くろす

Yuki is currently 17 years old and stands at a height of 157cm tall (5 foot 3 inches). She is revealed to be a pureblood vampire, AND Kaname's younger sister. She also became the princess of the Kuran family and Kaname's fiancé.

  Yuki has a common pale complexion and the beauty of other vampires. She has the typical looks of a Kuran, dark hair and brown eyes, meaning she resembles her mum. She resembles her mother so much that Rido (Yuki's uncle) mistakened her for Juri (Yuki's mother). Her hair was just below shoulder length while she was human but after her transformation she developed a more mature appearance with longer hair, roughly reaching her waist.

  Her best friend Yori, a human, was shocked to hear she was a vampire, but still stayed good friends and after the one year time skip, they met each other at a vampires-only party, which Yori had snuck into just to see her best friend.

  Zero has been Yuki's childhood friend since she was 11 years old. He came in as an orphan just like she was herself. Yuki hasn't noticed much of Zero's jealousy for her because of her strong connection with Kaname.

  Kaname has been Yuki's love interest since he saved her from another blood-thirsty vampire. He visited her occasionally, after being adopted by Kaien, the headmaster of Cross Academy.

おはよう! Ohayou minna-san! (That means hi ^^) Welcome to my blog and this is really and mostly about a well-known manga and anime: VAMPIRE KNIGHT!! So for all you Vampire Knight fanatics out there, this is the site for you ^^. I really like Vampire Knight and I have watched every episode of the anime but I haven't read every manga... yet. There are just so many I can't really keep up! I'll be writing reviews about each episode and brief recounts so you know exactly what I'm talking about! I'll also be writing about the characters in Vampire Knight too! So lots of Vampire Knight coming straight for you...
